DAY CAMP @ BrightKids Schoolhouse - 18TH DEC TO 20TH DEC 2006
This school holidays, BrightKids Schoolhouse has a special programme planned for your kids.
Our fun-packed school holiday programme includes a unique blend of outdoor and indoor activities. The programme will be conducted as 'day camps' for three days. Open to kids ages 4 years old to 12 years old, kids will be grouped according to their age and will only attend the one day allocated to their age group.
The Day Camp programme will be organized as follows:
1. Bright Munchkins - 4 to 6 year olds
Date: 18th Dec 2006
Time: 10am to 1pm
Fees: RM 50
Theme: Identity
Objectives: The activities encourage identifying and sharing of similarities, respecting people's differences. It also aims to build on one's creativity and confidence to experiment new things.
Programme: Your kids will be taught the differences and similarities between individuals. Various indoor and outdoor activites such as food art, creating storyboards and sand art will allow them to express themselves.
2. Bright Traders - 7 to 9 year olds Date: 19th Dec 206
Time: 10am to 3pm
Fees: RM 90
Theme: Mini Flea Market
Objectives: To introduce in simple terms the concept of buying and selling, creative thinking and good communication skills.
Programme: Your kids will be taught the simple concept of trading through hands on activities. They will be making their own items which they will later 'trade' at their very own designed and run 'mini flea market'. Kids will work both individually and in groups.
3. Bright Planners - 10 to 12 year olds
Date: 20th Dec 2006
Time: 10am to 3pm
Fees: RM 90
Theme: Town Planning and Habitat
Objectives: To introduce the concept of town planning and living in habitats. Basic geographical elements will be incorporated in the programme, which will encourage good planning and organisational skills, positive interdependence as well as creative thinking.
Programme: The programme starts with a short discussion on the various types of living spaces common to both men and animals. The remaining programme will focus on human habitats and town planning. Through individual and group activities, kids will explore their creative skills and general knowledge in designing and building their own towns.
SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT SIBLINGS SIGN UP AT A DISCOUNTED RATE!
Last date of Day Camp enrolment: 15th December 2006
Snacks and lunch will be provided and is inclusive of the fees.
Kids will bring home a portfolio of their work.
